Bottle Caps

Instructions
Both plastic and metal bottle caps can be recycled, but plastic caps are at risk of entanglement in recycling-line machinery. Metal caps can be placed in loose, but plastic bottle caps should be screwed loosely back onto their bottle.
Alternatives
Opt for a drink in a reusable glass or bottle instead.
Facts
Metal bottle caps and jar lids are made from steel with a polyethylene (i.e. plastic) lining. The plastic lining will be burnt off when the metal is processed to make new steel products.
